Happy Valentines Day and Chinese New Years

(Even though its a bit late, but wdv)

Finally arrived in Christchurch, after ten and a bit hours of sitting in the same seat watching movies/tv series and hannah montana =P no sleeping at all.

At auckland airport:

Stupid dog just had to like my hand carry bag... All there was in it was a jacket, a bag, my teddy bear. >=( It wasted a lot of my time opening it, showing to the person and saying "NO, I DO NOT HAVE ANY FRUITS IN MY BAG" ten million times =_____=

The bioact thingymabob is so strict in a way, but theres like billions of ways to sneak stuff in without them noticing.

But at the domestic check in counter the weighing machine was broken. ie: It started with -2.2kg and the lady forgot to add 2.2kg to my suppose to be overweight baggage (:

Landed in christchurch.

Didnt have any money left on my phone... Alright, i had 9 cents but i cant even call.

And if you ask me about the IOU thing? Yeah, already owe them 5 buxs.

Had to spend a dollar at those phone booths to call... blehh

So glad Im 'home'.

Now all i want is time to go sloooooooooooowly. Like, real slowwwwwly.

Please let mum get over my ncea results, my non-existent study habits, my failure for a certain something last year, and my unwillingness of going to that cram school. I know that I have never met her standards, I never did give everything my 100%.
But this year, I promise I will -no matter how high and far-fetch they are.
If i just get another chance.

Argh... Hopefully she will eventually pay my hall fees.
I need to get this done with by the coming monday.
I thought that after ncea results coming out, i can finally relax and not worry about things.

Resolutions 2010

I went to my post at the start of the year: New Year's Resolutions! I've pretty much achieved everything except for my dieting one... Yes, five kgs is hard to lose. And i managed to gain more weight... Each year i gain weight. ARGH! So anyway, ive decided to use reverse psychology. So number 1 on my new year's resolutions - 2010 is: Gain weight -2kgs.

2. Study

3. UMAT: Higher

4. Spend: Less

5. Bubble tea: Less

Haha, i realise that it is broad. This way, i get to cheat the system and say, "Yup, I've achieved everything this year as well."

... Okay okay, here is the proper list. ~~It's more unachievable~~

01. I will bully less

02. I will limit the amount of junk food I eat

03. I will decrease the negative "self talk" (e.g. I failed) in my vocabulary

04. ~~I will cut out bubble tea from my diet O_O~~ I will not spend too much money on bubble tea...

05. I will spend less on clothes, hair accessories, bags, ...

06. I will spend less, period.

07. I will study harder, procrastinate less.

08. I will get higher score on my umat. *lots positive thinking and luck.

09. I will gain weight (still determined to use reverse psychology here.)

10. I will try nawt to be a control freak.

Anyway, i was bored and failing point 7 on the list above... And i found a blog post for new year's resolutions for preschoolers.

I will clean up my toys.
I will brush my teeth twice a day, and wash my hands after going to the bathroom and before eating.
I won't tease dogs - even friendly ones. I will avoid being bitten by keeping my fingers and face away from their mouths.

I was deciding between using my new blog (wordpress) or here... But then i saw my post on wordpress saying, "for when i go to uni" so meh. When uni starts, i will write it there. For the time being, im gonna stick to blogger. Sorry Jenny.

Went to the zoo with Boey, Cindy and Peter. I had to leave early cuz of some school's performance that family friend invited us to. It was so hilarious. Boey after a few minutes looking at smtg after taking 41billion photos while we were waiting in the shade, "Is that the butt?" ... Uh, no boey, it's the shoulder blades =.= Lol.

Oh and thank you, peter, for the very late birthday/xmas present (: It is sooo ahdorable!

Went to this store which donates the money it makes to this hospital. And ~~i found~~ my sister found this hair curler thingy for 50 buxs (around 2.2o NZD). I was sooooooo excited and the first thing i did when i got home, was to try it. The results:

Crap cathay pacific. The speakers was ruined and my mum was complaining for like, the whole time. (Which is only 2 hours max, but still...)

Arrived at taipei airport around midnight. The airport was so stinky... took those huge bus home (40 minutes) and managed to go straight to bed.

DAY 2

Woke up around 9 and had the cheapest breakfast so far this year =D

Then went to visit mum's friend.

Had the cheapest lunch so far this year as well...

and dinner.

Went shopping at sogo and bought stuff. And cuz we spent heaps of $$ (not really? like NZD 100) My sis and i got to do our nails for free =D I LOVE FREE STUFF!

The asian girls here are all so skinny. Like, actual anorexic skinny... except, they eat. It gets depressing at times... but MEH.

Halfway through the night, i heard.. MOSQUITOS. And i felt 2 bites on my elbow! MY ELBOW. CANt they just bite somewhere else?! and WHY ARE THERE MOSQUITOS IN WINTER?! It was so frikken itchy...

DAY 3

Haircut... Which took the WHOLE MORNING. Around 3 hours... Cuz we all (mum, sis, me) had did our hair. I DYED MY HAIR!! (well, highlight -Thank you sam for reminding me what they are called... I'm such a doofus... but ANYWAY) it's redish purple...? You cant really tell without the sunlight. Didnt really choose the colour, just told the stylist to do whatever, but keep the length. IT TOOK ME FOREVER TO GROW THIS LONG.

Lord of the rings - extended. Was like, 5 hours late =) New record! In my defence, i did say i was going to be late. So when i got there, everyone had seen the LOTR1 and was eating. Then we played a bit of... How many petals around the roses. I managed to find a special, unique way to figure it out (: Except josh was like, IT'S NOT THE RIGHT WAY. IT'S WRONG. Pfft, as long as i can get the answer, i dont see anything wrong with that. Then we watched LOTR2. Since i havent seen LOTR ever. I had no idea and had to ask Jenny random questions eg: Is he a bad guy? So what is he doing? Who's that? Aww I'm sorry for annoying you!!

Then walked all the way home.

I've heard this so many times... But just this past week, ive heard it at least 4 times.

I ignored and thought nothing much about my "change" since the people that said that havent seen me in a while. Just thought of the usual, "Duh. It's cuz i havent seen you in like, how long? A whole year basically. If i havent changed, THAT would be weird."

...

Today, Andrew came back from America (for holiday yadada). And so i meet up with him after physics tutorial, which reminds me that,

I GET TWO ~~(out of four)~~ TOPICS FOR PHY. YAY!

As I was saying, we (Sam, Eugene, Andrew, me) went out for lunch and bubble tea then back to my place to study. Not productive productive study, but still studied nonetheless ~~as well as playing games on sam's ipod and listening to 'backstreet boys are gay' - Dont look at me, Eugene was being... Eugene, and wanted to show the others.~~. After Sam and Eugene left, Andrew and i watched CSI: New York (It wasnt that interesting today, which was a disappointment.) and we talked about holidays etc. Then he said, "You've changed so much." the FOURTH time someone said that. This time, i stopped to think about my ''change'' since it has only been a week since we last saw each other.

How much can I change in a week?

-Apparently, a lot.

I still worry about my upcoming exams (piano, music theory and all).

I'm still thinking about what to do with my future. Looking for my backup plans.

And I still have billions of white hairs growing out. _GRR they are so frustrating.

But I guess I've started to think and do other things and do things that i normally wouldnt do.

No, I still havent had alcohol, taken any drugs, or smoke. I dont want to die early.

But like, going out with people i didnt know (ahbviously with people i know as well... cuz I'm not that dumb. I think.) till after midnight.

Expressing more of what i think. Being meaner to Andrew -i would prefer to use the word, more demanding, than meaner, but wdv. (Dont say that i've always been mean. I know.) Having fun and enjoying myself, without calculating the pros and cons too much.

Today was so unproductive ):

Woke up at like 8... lazied around and went on msn. Watched a bit of tv (yes, there was only informercials on, but wdv. Still interesting to watch.) Then realized that it was already 10:45 and was going to be late to sam's...

But when i got there...

I was only five minutes late and only jenny arrived before me =.=

Gosh, i wasnt even fashionably late (as eugene and quan came at like an hour late.) and i had to speed all the way there! okay, i didnt cuz im trying to save fuel and apparently if u accelerates then stop (repeat x123 times till i get to sam's) would probably waste more fuel wtf.

We did some study in stats in the form of poker. Haha. The girls were ttly beating the guys (during a point in the game, the guys only had one "1.000" chocolate left while we had the rest. Haha girls are just plain luckier and awesome).

Then we watched Memento (2000) -well, ive seen the beginning of it so i kinda just finished watching it today. And im going to spoil it for everyone who havent watched it yet:

Got home and realised that:

I didnt have food!! (Mum was out, so was my sister for badminton competition). So i was worrying about starving myself while watching those skinny lil models on ANTM. I was complaining to everyone about my foodlessness and noone seemed to care that much. It was just "You come over to my place and i'll make you smtg." Well... I DONT WANNA GO TO YOUR PLACE... I'M WEARING MY PJ ALREADY AND I'LL BE MISSING OUT ON ANTM, WHICH I HAD BEEN WAITING FOR A WHOLE WEEEEEK. Then. Denny ttly tricked me saying that he'll bring food over... which he didnt bring over any food. Gosh. You just wanted me to hang out with you guys and get no studying done... Well, if i end up with my plan E nxt year, I'm taking you full responsibility. But yes, I ended up going out with Denny, Jimmy, Scott and David to get my dinner as they have already eaten. I hate it when im the only one eating and there are like... 41 billion pairs of eyes watching every move. I know im a messy eater, so stop looking already! >///<

We went to Ancestral for bubble tea, then city pak'n'save cuz someone wanted to get a drink....... After that we went to garden city bowls, for bowling ahbviously. Jimmy lost the first round BUT he managed to get 2nd the second time. What a fast learner. And Denny... just suxed =P I dont see the point of knowing and getting perfect scores for physics when you cant apply it in real life. Haha Just kidding~! You got 2 strikes =) After that we went to that karaoke place in the city... forgot what it's called ): But that's not important. Most ~~important~~ Hilarious part was: Jimmy and Denny was singing Barbie Girl together.(Should've recorded it but David was just being a bum =.= Now i cant blackmail them... Sigh.) UMAT was disappointing...

Especially seeing other people getting x41billion times better than you.

Ugh... I need a plan B if i fail my UMAT next year. A proper one.

When i told my mum that i need a plan B, she replied, "I thought u were going to get married." Pfft. Then i told Andrew to help me decide a plan B, guess what he said? The exact same thing as my mum. Why doesnt anyone take me seriously?! It's depressing. Really.

What if I dont want to go through that opened door? I want that damn door that just closed in my face >:((( I need PLAN B, C, D. Plan E is already sorted. That's my marriage one. But before i get stuck with a guy for the rest of my 70+ years of my life, i want to at least try doing something i want.

It was pink and gold, i spray painted it pink and silver instead... But meh. The stick fell off right after the formal. Haha talk about great timing.

Anyway, before the formal, Hayley forgot to bring her mask over to my place... Few minutes afterwards, Alysha came aaand she forgot her mask as well =___= Then as we were just about to leave my place to the formal, i nearly forgot to take my mask... i remembered though! ~~After my sister reminded me...~~

We were fashionably late (by like 15 ~ 30 mins) and this time... it wasnt my fault! Mwahaha feel so proud.

We got to ride the hummer again. Damn ): but at least it was huge enough so we didnt have to squeeze in... especially since jenny had a poofy dress...

But anyway, it was boooooring and long...

And i got carsick on the way back... stupid orbiter bus.

Assessment day was today =)

Was so worried before the test, but the written was really easy (yay!)

Practical part went okay... Had to redo one part as i touched the pool floor. Seriously, pool was only 1.5m deep... but after hours of 'saving ppl from drowning.'

Start Here:

After Interval I went home and got ready to go to the airport - Dunedin.

We (My mummy and i) went around everywhere looking for the reception to print out our boarding passes (even though we had the paper copy, we wanted the shiny/plastic-y ones. Okay, fine. I wanted the shiny one). After like 15 minutes walking around the airport, we lifted out heads and TA-Da! We found it. Haha we started looking from the exact same place as well.. if only we looked up. But wdv. This just shows that i havent been at the airport for a long time okay?!

25 kg!!!! Extra five whole kgs to use =O but we didnt have any baggage though.

Me and my shiny boarding pass =) See~ It's so shiny that you cant even see the printing on it.

We went to the cafe and ordered drinks and looked at all the ppl going through the gates. HEAPS of people looked like they were going to sit the UMAT. We also saw those tiny planes that you have to walk to it and climb that staircase (not like the tunnel thingy where you walk through) and i told my mummy dearest that I WANT TO WALK TO THE PLANE.

Meet up with Nancy, Sam and this other guy that i cant spell the name to ): Sorry!

We boarded the plane and guess what? WE GOT TO WALK TO THE PLANE. Talk about luckyness. On the plane, this lady beside me asked me the differences between chinese, mandarin, cantonese and taiwanese =.= Total FAIL. I did my best to answer but got ttly stuck between mandarin and chinese. What is the difference between them anyway?

Then we arrived in Dunedin!! (Was already like 20 minutes late...) We found a shuttle $20 per person to the city. When the shuttle driver asked Nancy where she would like to be dropped off: St. M (cuz she wanted to tour there before going to motel) she sounded like she lives at St. M. PoOs. But yeah, Sam and i decided to go to the motels then meet up to visit St. M. When mum and i got to our motel she forgot her beanie <- Didnt realised till a while afterwards =.=

It is so amazing. There was underfloor heating in the shower room and i love the bathroom design. Gave me a few ideas for my future house. But anyway pics:

Walked to the uni which was super close (like 3 minutes, 2 minutes if i run -yeah yeah. I cant run fast but MEH.) And we (Mum, Sam, Me) went to St. M to visit: I was, by then, like a whole hour late. Blame the plane and shuttle... But the staffs were so nice (: We went around the dorm, tv/games room/ common room/ study halls <- FREEZING and it looks Meh/ dinning halls <- AMAZING. And then we meet the warden and he was... a bit scary ):

Warden:You guys take all three sciences right?

Us: Yeeess....

W: How were your results last year?

Sam: Good.

W: How good is good? Heaps and heaps of Excellences?

Sam: Yeah definitely.

(Notice how i completely left the conversation? Cuz my physics sucked so much last year. Also notice how SAM IS COMPLETELY SHOWING OFF???????!!!!!)

W: Do you guys do any music?

Me: Um... Outside school...? (mwhaha! Back in convo)

Me: Piano, grade 8.

The library is ah-mazingggggggg. I will be spending heaps of time there nxt year if i go to Otago. Oh and heaps of people on the computers were on... FACEBOOK! Lols.

Then we went to find restaurant (walked all the way to octagon and nothing looked okay) there were a few shops so at least there is somewhere i can go for my retail therapy nxt year if i need one. Meet up with felix at Mc Donalds: He took the TAXI from the airport and it costed him like 80 buxs. What a dimbulb.

After having dinner at this Jap restaurant we walked around trying to find New World. Txted Hamish and he explained where it was. But after like 30 minutes of walking around in the city we gave up and went to those convenient store to buy the nxt's day breakfast.

EXAM DAY!!!

Three bunny rabbits at our motel. Mum and i didnt realize there were bunnies until Sam pointed it out when he came over. O_O Gosh, i lack in observation skills.

Meet up with felix cuz us three did the afternoon exam (nancy had to wake up early to do the morning one ><" poor her). On the way to the octagon guess what happened? WE FOUND NEW WORLD. Haha.

Was meant to put write this post ages ago...

anyway, on the 27th June 2009 I went to CBHS Formal.

It was at Christchurch convention centre (:

Got sent a letter a week before the formal explaining the rules and everything from the school:

Andrew's dad took us there in his hummer... I forgot to take pictures of the car so i just googled it... But yeah, very similar to the pic below. It was really high and it took me aaaages to climb in. (Yes, i really had to climb in) Inside it was HUGE and square-like with heaps of fancy buttons... The seats were freeeeezing (leather) and when it finally got warmed... we were at the convention centre. =___=" when we got there, i kinda just slipped out of the car... Quite embarrassing really... but it was really high!!

I limited my $$ spending for this formal (cuz i didnt even want to go in the first place) So i did my own makeup and my sister did my hair. That saved 100 buxs! My make-up techniques were quite bad so my sister had to help =_="

FOOD!! It was sooo yummy. With bagels, pizzas, wraps, savories, croissants, cakes, wedges etcc. There drinks was those plastic bottles ones (you can see a bit in the pic below) and it was unlimited!

My bio class went with ms morris' class.

Sorry, i dont remember much... so it's going to be a reaaaal short entry.

So what happened was a blonde girl got killed and they found some hairs or whatever at her place... The 4 suspects were: Neighbor, Ex-husband, Boyfriend, and Pizza delivery person (yes i know, why the pizza guy?! but that is just how the story goes...). So we had to use those dna thingymabobs to find who's the killer...

I guessed suspect 2: Ex-husband... and i was right!! (:

Sam failed his first one =P And Naveen was just plain SHOWING OFF with all his speed and techniques... pfft.

We went out to the canteen for lunch and we got free muffins from some kind of meeting... they finished with heaps and heaps of leftover muffins =)

Afterwards, we went back and we had to collect DNA?? or something (i wasnt really paying attention, but it looks like snot... ><") While i was collecting the thingymabob, i managed to spill the snot-like thing onto Naveen's lincoln refill... Twice.

Last night i was reading through old blog posts and i realised that... I havent been camwhoring in ages... so WARNING: Heaps of camwhoring pics in this post.

On saturday my family and family friend went out to Drexels (at riccarton) for brunch to celebrate my sister passing her piano = =" The food was amazing... aaand they gave HEAPS. I ended up wasting a whole pancake... I know, there's starving children in africa that would totally love to have it... I'm sorryyyy.

But anyway, after window shopping upstairs, sis and i went downstairs to silvermoon and i bought her a pandora charm. It costed 48 bucks T^T she just had to choose the more expensive one... gosh.

This week went by so fast ): I wrote down a to-do list and so far ive done nothing from it. I'm not even sticking to my stupid diet and the formal is in two weeks... I'll end up looking huge if i don't start tomorrow. Crash diet here i come > <"

But school: I got my first E in biology this year. Finally. I've been doing soo bad in all my subjects but yay!! I even bet that smartypants (who have been stealing my smart brain cells =P) that sits nxt to me in bio. And (since i havent been blogging for a while, and forgot to write heaps of stuff in the previous post) I got my first E in English this year as well. *Proud Face* I thought i was going to get a poo grade after felix saying how my topic suxs. (Okay, he didnt say that directly...)

Last night i went to the otago talk thing. It was... okay i guess. They didnt really talk about something that i didnt already know... But i got that application form for residential colleges. Right now, i need to have heaps of positive thoughts of getting into the college i want to. Yes, i know you start applying during july but PLEASSSSSSSEEE lemme get in. People, go apply for carrington. Dont take my spot.

Lately ive been feeling so tired ): I dont see why though... Ive been going to bed superly early - before midnight. (Normally, my bedtime is like 2am okay?) I even skipped academic tutoring today so i could go home to sleep for 2+ hours. It did not help. Bob said i have the swine flu *touch wood. T^T Im not even sick, doofus. Btw, that eye bags thingy does NOT work. It might be because my eye bags are the size of canada right now and i need to use that more than twice... but still, i have ginormous eyebags! *cries*

Lastly: The Cadbury ad!! My sister saw it on tele and was really excited about it. Then she went on youtube (cuz everytime i watch tv, i just dont see the ad) to show me...

Heaps of people doesnt really like it...?

But i do. There are heaps and heaps of awesome shops with actual proper clothes. =) I'm going to enjoy the rest of the year shopping there instead of Merivale or the city. YAY!

Anyway, me and hayley went there on the second day it opened. Which was the friday -last day of exams. The ground floor is soo bare, everyone just went straight up to the second level. It is amazing. The toilets can improve, but it is still better than the ones downstairs where it STINKS. We went into every single store (i think) and started trying on clothes, even though we had limited $$$ on us.

After trying, the shop assistant asked how it was blahblahblah -really dislike them being overly friendly (but i know, they're just doing there job). Hayley just said "it's a bit too big" so she ''tried'' on a smaller size, taking a total time of 3 seconds before we went into other shops.

Theres a chocolate shop as well where EVERYONE were lining up, waiting to buy some chocolates. I dont really see the WOAHness of the chocolates, but, the main thing i like about this shop is that it doesnt JUST sell chocolates, it has a cafe-selling iced chocolate etc which makes it better than the other chocolate stores in other malls. I didnt get to try the iced chocolate cuz it was getting late and i had family friends coming over later that night, so hayley and i just bought chocolates.

The dark chocolate star was realllllllllllly rich and yummy. And the other two i bought for my mum and sis: Mango spear and white chocolate strawberry are apparently really delicious as well. Me wanna have moree of them ):

Then, on the following day after piano lesson my mum, sister, me went there again for actual buying things =) I bought a top, scarf, dress from surreal and my sister bought a jacket coat thingy from general issue. Okay, the price might seem a bit much, BUT u must realise that it is pretty cheap compared to stores in other countries. In the carpark my mum was converting it to NTD (taiwan money) and said "It's actually not that expensive." Hehe. But yes, i must stop spending anything for the nxt month -saving it for another shopping spree. whee~

Merivale Mall

A week after, i went to get my passport photo done as my passport expired ): It turned out soo horrible. Ugh i have to see that icky picture of my face for the nxt TEN WHOLE YEARS. But nevermind that, i went shopping again. =___=

i know i said the whole not-spend-anymore-$-for-the-nxt-month-thing... but i saw a formal dress that i MUST have. It's for the Boys' High formal, cuz burnside one needs to be poofy. I went upstairs (dunno what the shop is called) aand looked through every single formal dress. Mum actually picked that dress out and said it looks nice. So i tried it on. Then the friendly shop assistant came around and asked if i would like shoes to go with it. Sure. So she went to get these silver shoes that im wearing to burnside high year13 formal as well as the boys' high one. Then she asked if i wanted to try on some assessories to go with it. Yup, thanks. And so she went out and came back with necklace, bracelets aand earrings. It was so sad cuz the earrings were so pretty but i dont have pierced ears ): Then after trying those things on, i asked to try on different dresses, haha the shop assistant must have been annoyed with me ^^" Ohwell. It was fun and i ended up buying that dress (had to get it altered a bit though) and shoes. Also, I was sooo happy that day cuz i realised that im not even a size 8 hehe.

Exams

Went pretty bad. During the physics internal, a HUGE (im not exaggerating) spider fell onto my table and i seriously heard a sound when it hit my table. It was soo disgusting and i nearly screamed. (No sound came out though > <") I ended up using my calculator to brush it on the ground... A few minutes later when i checked the spider IT WASNT THERE. So i spent half of the exam worrying that the spider crawled onto me. Results: Getting it rechecked cuz my lines did go through the boxes but they said it didnt =___=.

Stats common test went okay i guess... I didnt understand half the questions and went "skip" umm "skip" then after 'finishing' the paper, i went back to the questions i skipped and wrote the randomest numbers in for the answers. Results: CRAP. Got around 40 T^T Blehblehbleeh.

On friday we went out for dinner with family friends (ㄚ里巴巴, 二少, Albert, Tom) at some chinese restaurant and i saw Felix. I thought it was just plain dinner. Not till the realllllllllly end when the waitress spilled the surprise about CAKE. hohoho. First cake for my 17th birthday.

So anyway, on a monday during term 2 (i dunno the exact date) 100+ students from burnside got to bunk (: for stage challenge. We had to get up super early. Hanna's dad took us there.

We got to see other school's T-shirts/Tank-tops etc and i LOVE chch girls & boys' t-shirt. BUT we stood out from everyone... due to our green tops...

Anyway, we got to see other school's practices (apart from girls&boys as their practice was before we arrive...) and Avonside one was amazing. Especially the pointe shoes part. When it was our turn to practice, the first time was okay, the jump rope part failed. The second time, out main girl (you know, the first girl u see in the performance) dislocated her knee. She had to go to the hospital to get surgery done (but had to wait till the swelling goes down). ><"

So, we were the 6th (i think) to perform... When it was our turn, we went down stairs to get to the back stage aaand i fell down. TWICE. it was soo embarrassing!! It was like step step step x20 Fall down (1). stand up. step step. fall down again. ughh i have no sense of balance watsoever. Despite that, the performance went pretty well. The jump rope part was perfect!!!! After that, we went back to the main dressing room where we can watch the performance going on downstairs and we saw girls and boys one... it was AMAZING. We thought we wouldve come third... (Girls and Boys, then avonside) but guess whattttttt?

WE WON!

Lots of screaming came after that ^^" but yeahh it was a reallllllllllllly fun day. So glad that i signed up for it (:

Update of my life this week:

Failed biology due to stage challenge for North division and poo teacher wont let me take the test at another time ): I ran out of time!!!!!!!!! It's so not fair. I cant wait till after monday, so this is all over and done with. But more importantly, i get to sleep in later. I dislike getting up early every day for those assemblies. I literally have huge dark circles under my eyes the whole week. Sigh. But yeah, the performances to all the divisions was horrible ): either i slipped, forgot some moves or just did crap. Then we had a performances on saturday for our parents etc that didnt/wont get to see our dance as the tickets (which cost $33.00) sold out real fast. I got my hair and makeup done for the saturday performances and the ballet people (me included) got a pretty gold ribbon on our hair (gold really stands out with my blackish hair so yay!) Oh and we got our Stage Challenge T-shirts today! (: It's green, but not the yucky kind.

Mind That Child

Forgot to mention in the last post that i went to do the Mind That Child course at the Red Cross. It was horrible getting up real early in the morning T^T Okay, it was normal school time BUT IT WAS DURING THE HOLIDAY. So anyway, Jacinda's brother took Hanna, Leslie (my sister) and me to the red cross place.

Haha, i totally failed that part =___= i put the nappy backwards *Jaw drops to the ground. But it wasnt totally my fault since i knew those strappy thingys are in the back so u can stick them forwards BUT there was this tag on the FRONT of the nappy, normally tags go on the BACK... right...? Ugh, to my future baby: I'm sorry if i put the nappy on the wrong way... Really really.

We got the cutest one! At the start we passed around the babies so we get to know how to hold them properly, i got that baby above and it reminded me of my sister when she was little... Haha its gonna be named Little Leslie =) Anyway, Little Leslie got heaps of pretty clothes to choose from and hats!!

Then after the break, something really tragic happened. Little Leslie got stolen from us T^T so we were left with the choice of those dummies (for infant CPR) or a GUY baby. We decided not to have any. So i didnt get to practice giving babies baths!! Oh-wells.

Stage Challenge

We were going to have just ONE practice this holiday but bleehh ended up going twice. It wasnt too bad though, apart from getting this massive bruise on one of my knee and a smaller bruise on my other knee. MY KNEES LOOK HORRIBLE NOW!! Ugh.

Got to see the other group's dance today (where Jingy, Hanna, Grace etcc are in). Their dance is soo awesome now... poOie. Ours just seems dull in comparison.

BUT. We got to do costume fitting (: aaand I get to wear a white skirt and get glitter done on the tights.

The whole thing is going to be sooo amazing! Just pray to God that i wont fall down in any performance in front of the assemblies and in the actual competition. Not only would that be totally embarrassing, but i would also receive hundred and thousands of evil glares from our school (and probably happy smiles from other schools, but thats not the point).

Chocolate Bunniee x]

Okay, for easter my sister got heaps of chocolate eggs and bunnies. All i got was the assembly one and a few (same assembly ones) from other people *coughcough* No, Im not complaining about getting chocolates from assembly because other divisions didnt get any MWAHAHA. But im complaining about not getting a chocolate BUNNY. So i did what Sarah does to get what she wants... Whine.

So Ta-Da! After a few minutes of whining and few horrible days of waiting... I finally got my Chocolate Easter Bunny =)

Dont tell me how fatty I'll become after eating the whole thing because

1) Im going to share it with my sister okay? ~~(Leslie, if you are reading this Im not actually going to share. It just makes me seem like a nice sister to say that)~~

2) IT'S HOLLOW. So it wont make a huge difference in my weight

3) Im already gaining weight this holiday anyways so it doesnt really matter.

Anyway, i had to bus over to Jacinda's. I left the house 10 minutes early and waited at the bus-stop. People were waiting for the bus = good sign that i didnt miss it. So, everything was going fine... Then a few minutes of waiting, i realised that i left my wallet at home ): How forgetful can i get?! Thankfully Kimmi was waiting at the bus-stop with me so she lend me $$$$$ for the ride. Or else I wouldve rushed home and back to realise that i missed the bus and was going to be superly late for Jessie's party.

We played buzz and I was the old granny who does cool dance moves when she gets a question right (which is like 1/10000 of the time) she isnt that bright ^^" BUT even though I keep getting the answer wrong T^T i was extreeeeemely lucky and manage to WIN! :)

And made popcorn with the popcorn machine O_O i always thought you make popcorn by using the microwaves and it puff up the bag etcetc but there's a popcorn machine!!! Dimbulb jessie managed to put a ~~tiny bit too much~~ more than twice the amount of popcorn needed into the machine, which resulted the popcorn to fly EVERYWHERE. Smooth Jessie, ttly smooth.

Aww, i dont want High school to finish that soon even though heaps of people have been telling me that "I just want to get the whole studying over and done with." But seriously, after studying, its getting a job and finding a PH. After that, it will be getting married etcetc... Quite boring if you ask me (unless i get to travel a lot in the future). But there is the whole "getting older every stinky day thing."

But anyway, Im awfully lucky... I got E for my stats *wipes forehead* Hopefully my luck stays with me till... forever. (Well, until i get into med & actually finish that & find my ph & marry my ph &... yeah, just till i die would be perfect).

This week [Monday], I got to see the rest of the stage challenge's dances! All I can say is, ours sucked. Big huge time. =____= I love love love Kelsey's group one and Jingy's one is awesome. I want to do their dances instead!!! Sighs, hopefully our costume is better than theirs at least or else, it isnt really fair IS IT?!

I also learned some amazing news. But nanananaaa I'm not telling you cuz Im too cool. =___=" Okay, that totally ruined my cool-ness, but meh. You still dont know what I know about that thing I wouldnt want you to know cuz I know...? Dont ask/say "If you're not telling us, then why are you posting it on your blog?!" Because, when im old and ~~wrinkly and have THE bags under my eyes &~~ have white hairs growing, not that i dont have any now =.= dammit they just keep growing dont they?! On thursday morning i was planning to bunk both physics scholarship & reading tutor for sleeping in. But i decided that i just cant be that lazy! So i got up and went to school while my sister was still sleeping =__= unfairness. Anyway, physics schol wasnt too bad. Still have to figure out that books question. I got it (for a second) then i kinda got myself more confused trying to word it.

My statistic common test wasnt too bad after all! [i remembered my 4sf] When i got it back i was soooooo annoyed at my mistake on the first page. I forgot to put the square root in for the standard deviation thingy, but i did square root it for the answer =.= how booboo can i get? I was missing that mark to get me into 80% But we went through the answers and he marked a question wrong so i got moved up into the eighties (: so happy!

I still havent gotten my statistic internal back yet. Wont get it till monday next week since i dont have stats on friday. On Wednesday, Jacinda played an April's fool joke on me about how they (Nicole & Jacinda) asked out math teacher about the internal, and that Nicole got excellence and i only got Merit. I nearlllllly had a heart attack but then just before i got into class she said "April fools" Oh Dammit.

I kinda did it. (Well you see, i had badminton during that time, so my house was all dark but st thomas was all bright). It wouldve been cool if we used candles though! Actually, maybe that isnt such a good idea with the shuttles flying everywhere (into the candles) and people debating if it was an 'in' or 'out' >___<" Btw, i still havent told you guys to put your hands done. =P

ANd! Ive been eating one square meals everyday. Well technically, half an one square meal. (not much difference) And guess what? I officially lost 2 WHOLE KGS. omgoodness. I am so proud of myself. ~~Even though i just finished off a bubble tea at 11:00~~ I have very good self-control now. *nodsnods* Sister just finished making instant noodles and it smells SO GOOD. i'm going to try get a bit off her.

One last thing (to make this seem like a lengthy post). I watched Criminal Minds on Thursday and it was HORRIBLE. I ditched all my duties, hanging out the washing & doing the dishes in order to just go upstairs to my room and hide under the covers for the whole night. Then i was too scared to stay home by myself on friday night - my sister had badminton training till late. VERy LATE. and my mum had some job-like thingy to do. So i made andrew come over and watch American Idol & New Zealand's Next Top Model & FRIENDS. Haha he was really bored with the first two. FRIENDS was pretty funny though so i think he was okay with it. Phoebe is just so adorable.

I was reading through blogs and i found this:

Nine words girls/women uses.

(1) Fine: This is the word women use to end an arguement when they are right and you need to shut up.

(2) Five Minutes: If she is getting dressed, this means half an hour. Five minutes is only five minutes if you have just been given five more minutes to watch the game before helping around the house.

(3) Nothing: This is the calm before the storm. This means something, and you should be on your toes. Arguments that begin with nothing usually end in 'Fine'.

(4) Go Ahead: This is a dare, not permission. Dont do it.

(5) Loud Sigh: This is actually a word, but is a non-verbal statement often misunderstood by men. A loud sigh means she thinks you are an idiot and wonders why she is wasting her time standing here and arguing with you about nothing. (Refer beach to #3 for the meaning of 'Nothing'.)

(6) That's Okay: This is one of the most dangerous statements a women can make to a man. That's okay means she wants to think long and hard before deciding how and when you will pay for your mistake.

(7) Thanks: A woman is thanking you, do not question, or faint. Just say you're welcome. (I want to add in a clause here =THis is true, unless she says 'Thanks a lot' - that is PURE sarcasm and she is not thanking you at all. DO NOT say 'you're welcome'; that will bring on a 'Whatever'.

(8) Whatever: Is a woman's way of saying screw you.

(9) Dont worry about it, i got it: Another dangerous statement, meaning this is something that a woman has told a mad to do several times, but is now doing it herself. This will later result in a man asking 'What's wrong?' For the woman's response, refer to #3.

Anyway, it's Teacher's only day today aaand i was going to make it a productive day (which i failed). School so far is boring. Statistic common test was gay. I didnt see the 4sf at the first page so im not sure if i rounded EVERYTHING to 4 significant figures. Okay, next time I will read the first page - instructions before doing the actual exam. That was probably the main thing i learnt after the exam ><" hopefully i didnt do really crapo. *fingers crossed.

Biology Internal havent been going that well. My experiment (model) is just so baaad.

1st design: Light intensity. Teachers comment "You will change the temperature if you change the light intensity with the resistor" Gave up on that design.

2nd design: Temperature. The one that everyone is doing. BUT the slaters/woodlice started to CLIMB up the beaker >=( and going backwards. So dumb.

3rd design: Temperature still. But instead of the beaker, i made a tunnel with water on both side so i can vary the temperature. In the end, foil paper isnt that great to keep water, so i ended up flooding my tunnel and drowning my slater ): Just one though... so not TOO bad.

4th deign: Temperature still. With a tunnel. But the tunnel is out of the container with water so i wont drown anymore slaters. Hopefully it'll work. I only have four more periods left. FOUR!! ughhhh.

got to get rid of a noisy fly in my room.

I wanted to read my sister's blog and i had to go through the school role to crack the password =.= and after i got in... IT WAS REALLY BORING. What a waste of time.

Anyway, when i got up yesterday morning (monday) it was reallllllllllly cold. And i decided to wear my sister's jacket (which got heaps of compliments from) whee! Leslie, you really do have good fashion sense (: But yeah, in the afternoon it got a bit warmer with the sun out and all...

School was boring, was nearly late to assembly. I think being year 13 and all, we should be able to sit anywhere we like and not in a seating plan. Seriously. My seat SUXS. (Well, its not too bad compared to some others.) Oh. I have a Stats common test on thursday and guess what? the teacher JUST started to teach us about probability. Bet im going to stay up all night on wednesday ~~unless i decide to flunk it and go to sleep.~~ Dont ask why im not studying for it right now. ~~I cant be bothered... DUh.~~ Ive got chemistry topic test and bio internal tomorrow (need to make my experiment).

Hmm. After school i went shopping with my mum when i shouldve been at swimming. Too tired and 1000 more reasons why i didnt go. I finally got to top up my phone after nearly half a year surviving on 17cents. Yay~! But im not allowed to buy txt2k or bestmate -meh. Im used to not txting anyway.

I was feeling all frustrated today until now.

Because my quicktime player couldnt work properly, so i renewed it and all that. After a LOT of minutes of waiting, it still doesnt work T^T when will i get to watch HSM3 properly?!

And my computer is nearly full on memory. I cant believe how tiny memory storage my ibook has. Seriously. All i have in my computer are photos since 2006 (taken from my camera only), 642 songs and some movies and the first season of 90210. AND ITS ALL FULL. UGh. i had to delete Princess hours' pictures and some music scores sheet thingy and pictures of random but cute guys i stalk. Just kidding about the last one =_= but aeaekghakl u lil piece of doofhead. Expand ur memory right now. *most serious face ever* Oh! and i updated my Adium so now its getting really similar to msn (actually, it is still far from it, but its gotten better so me should just shut up with the complaining) but yeah, that was last night.

This morning was really cold and all i wanted to do was stay warm inside my blanket & bed. But my sister stole my blanket in order to wake me up (she had to get up from her bed to turn off 'my' alarm clock) totally didnt wanna go to badminton this morning. My legs were tired from dancing + stretching and its all sore (probably from the whole i cant do the splits as well, SEE! - goes into splits to prove it ) I can tell you, it was ttly not worth it proving my point. But as i was saying, the whole getting up early on a COLD FREEZING SUNDAY MORNING to go to badminton made me feel super annoyed. When i got to badminton, it was okay. Saw Jingy aka LSHA there with Jimmy and the usual sunday morning peoples. Denny ditched us cuz he was busy (even though he txted me saying that "You can run around more and play more" like i want to run around in the morning =___=" but wdv. Exercising isnt that bad, when it pays off and get rid of the bulge around my tumtum.)
